About Us
Our story begins with Paul Lloyd, a father, husband, and champion of women’s wellness. Having raised his daughter alone, Paul witnessed firsthand the importance of a safe, supportive environment for women. He also drew inspiration from his own mother, a strong, caring, family-centred woman whose spirit now lives on in the heart of KC Leisure named after her.
This centre was not only Paul’s vision but a mission he held close, inspired by the unique wellness needs of the women in his life, including his partner, their daughters, and colleagues. Understanding the health challenges and emotional journeys women face, he wanted to create a space where women could find lifelong support, community, and empowerment.
With backing from the Welsh Government, KC Leisure was created to be more than a wellness centre. It’s a sanctuary that provides holistic, woman-centred care, addressing everything from fitness and mental health to reproductive wellness and life’s transitions. This centre celebrates the unique journey of every woman who walks through our doors.
